Very trendy and absolutely delicious: Mexican cuisine is currently conquering menus everywhere. And rightly so, in our opinion! Because just south of the USA you will find a cuisine that offers far more than tacos, nachos and guacamole. Influenced by the advanced civilisations of the Aztecs and Maya peoples, by the cuisine of Spain, but also by French, Arab and Caribbean traditions, a fascinating food culture has developed. Today, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and plenty of spices come together in a colourful firework of versatile flavours. Whether mild or strong spiciness, fruity sweetness or full-bodied chocolate notes – now there are exciting combinations.

Together with the one and only Stefan Mungenast, we have turned our attention to Mexican cuisine and, just in time for the sunny season, we present spicy dips and summery salads – with avocado, corn, cactus leaves and delicious citrus notes. Tacos and quesadillas entice with their rich fillings of juicy chicken, spicy chorizo or crispy pork belly. With the fruity melon salad we serve oven-cooked catfish fillet, with the juicy steak the slightly spicy grilled vegetables – refined with a shot of tequila. And for dessert? Delicious coconut-macadamia balls, fantastic avocado-chocolate ice cream or perhaps a delicious cocktail with papaya or watermelon? The motto here is: Those who dare, win!
